Rush Sailing is so much more than a sailing school. Of course we make sure that your sailing skills improve no matter what your starting point. But we also do our best to ensure that you fully enjoy the experience and fall in love with the sport of sailing.

Rush Sailing Instructors have many years of sailing and sailboat racing experience. The schools founder, Jeff Alisch, holds a master Captain’s License and has over 40 years of racing and teaching experience. Each instructor has over 10 years of solid racing experience to assure your success on the water. No matter what level of sailor you might be, our instruction is presented in an easy to follow format while assuring a great time for everyone.

The Boats: Our off-shore sailboat is a custom built Nelson/Marek 36. This 36 foot race boat has always been raced on Lake Michigan, winning virtually every major regatta on the lake. Under our ownership we've won over 50 brag flags to prove that we are in the business of teaching you how to win regattas. We also have two Olympic class Star Boats that we use for our One-On-One sailing lessons. The Star is a two-man keel boat raced by the very top sailors worldwide. All of our boats are maintained to the highest standards.
